Terms & Conditions
Unicorn Office Equipment obligations with respect to its products and services are governed solely by the agreements under which they are provided and nothing on this Site should be construed to alter such agreements. Unicorn Office Equipment further does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the information or services at this Site or by Unicorn Office sales consultants. Unicorn Office Equipment may make changes to the information and services on this Site, or to the products and prices described in them, at any time without notice. The materials and services at this Site may be out of date, and Unicorn Office Equipment makes no commitment to update the materials and services at this Site. Information published at this Site may refer to products or services that are not available in your country. Applicable law may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so this exclusion may not apply to you. This is solely in reference to the use of this site and its services, not products you purchase via the site, as these carry their own respective warranties.
Limitation of Liability
Unicorn Office Equipment is not responsible for failure of timely delivery of goods or warehouse packing errors or omissions In no event will Unicorn Office Equipment, its suppliers, courier contractors or other third parties be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, those resulting from lost profits, lost data or business interruption) arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information or services contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not Unicorn Office Equipment has been advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of the materials, information or services from this site results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment or data, you assume all costs thereof. Applicable law may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. In particular, these provisions are subject to non-excludable warranties implied by the trade practices act (cth) 1974 and related legislation.
Returns & Refund of Goods
In accordance with the NSW Office of Fair Trading Consumers are not entitled to a refund when they:
- Change their mind about a product. This includes when a consumer has found a cheaper product elsewhere, has bought a gift that is unsuitable, or their circumstances have changed and they no longer require the goods.
- Knew, or should have known about a fault when the goods were bought, for example as seconds. However, if a second has a fault that the consumer was not aware of, or could not have discovered upon a reasonable inspection when the item was bought, their rights are not affected.
- Are unable to prove from whom, and when the item was purchased unless Unicorn are satisfied that the goods were purchased from them.
- Are responsible for damaging the goods by not following the instructions, or misusing the product.
- Important: A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns accepted under the abovementioned criteria.
Unicorn Office Equipment warrants their products in accordance with the manufacturers' warranty against original factory imperfections in material and workmanship. Such service as may be necessary as a result of accident or abuse is not included. The Warranty covers all parts and labour that may become faulty as a result of manufacturing. Knobs and casing that are damaged, broken or lost as a result of misuse, neglect, wear and tear, or general usage are not covered under this Warranty. The product must be returned to the Unicorn Office Equipment for repair. Should any defect in the product become apparent within the period of this Warranty, the Purchaser must immediately contact Unicorn Office Equipment to minimise further damage. Transportation and Freight costs involved in the sending and return of the product to the Unicorn Office Equipment is the responsibility of the Purchaser unless stated otherwise.
